Brief Biography

Craig B. Webb, PhD, DVM, DACVIM
Associate Professor, Clinical Sciences Department
Small Animal Internal Medicine

Dr. Webb specializes in small animal gastroenterology (“GI disease”).  He teaches the small animal GI course to 3rd year veterinary students and frequently presents GI topics at numerous national meetings, including the Western Veterinary Conference and the North American Veterinary Conference.  Dr. Webb is a regular presenter at both Colorado State University’s Annual Conference and semi-annual Feline Conference.  Dr. Webb also teaches GI endoscopy techniques to veterinary residents and practitioners, and has published a number of articles, proceedings, and book chapters on the subject of gastrointestinal diseases in cats and dogs.  In addition to his beautiful wife Tracy and 3 children (8 year old identical twins Domonique and Collette, and Trevor, his 11 year old son), Dr. Webb has three cats of his own, Izze, Spike, and Bubo.

Jessica M. Quimby, DVM, DACVIM
Research Fellow, Clinical Sciences Department
Small Animal Internal Medicine

Following graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Quimby pursued her interest in feline medicine in private practice at a feline exclusive clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Wanting to learn more about medicine and advance the state of medical knowledge for cats, Dr. Quimby recently completed a small animal internal medicine residency at Colorado State University where she continued to concentrate on feline medicine.  During her residency Dr. Quimby specialized in feline renal disease, and is now pursuing a PhD, exploring several aspects of this all too common disorder.  Dr. Quimby is at the forefront of a number of research projects looking at telomere senescence as a possible cause of kidney disease, the use of stem cells as a novel therapy for kidney disease, and the efficacy of several drug therapies for kidney disease. She and her husband Michael are owned by five wonderful felines.
